- Channai is the southernmost and largest automobile vehicle producer region. Around 60% of countries automotive exports.
it is the home of operations of heavy vehicle factory coma engine factory Avadi, Ford, Hyundai, Renault, Mitsubishi, Nishan, BMW, Hindustan motors,Daimler, Caparo, mini and Datsun company.
- Mumbai, Maharashtra region along with Pune. it is western Cluster with 33% share of automobile market. Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda are located in Aurangabad. Mahindra and Mahindra plant in Nashik.general motors, Tata motors, Mercedes Benz, land rover, Jaguar, Fiat and force motors are in Pune.
- Northen Cluster around the national capital region along with Gurgaon, Manesar in Haryana contribute 32% of market. where the country's largest car manufacturer of Maruti Suzuki is based.
- An emerging cluster is Gujrat state with MG motors, Atul auto,Ford, Maruti Suzuki.
- Then Kolakatta with Hindustan motors, Noida with Honda, Bangaluru with TOYOTA, Volvo, Scania & Andra Pradesh with Isuzu & Kia Company.
